Menswear label HANSEN states their moto as follows: “Simple, honest, and democratic everyday wear with longevity”. Designer Aase Helena Hansen delivers her casually refined brand steeped in Nordic expression, values, and tradition. To honor Nordic heritage, the collection was built with Norwegian weaving mills and Danish embroiders and hand knitters.

I fell in love with Studio Dunn since I saw their work on the ICFF in New York and I'm still saving for one of those coventry stools.

We have been published on the blog of Mr. Jacques and discovered his beautiful vintage atelier for child furniture. I think he has some of the best pieces for children I've seen in a long time … probably because he has a lot of the chairs of my grandfather's house in mini-version. Take a look!

I just found this little store Neëst on the web. It's great selection of simple, pure objects mostly created by japanese designers but there are a few scandinavian products as well. It makes me want to design some small, simple objects for the Hansen Family, too …

The Hansen Family is celebrating the release of the Remix Dining Table.
The solid tabletop of the Dining Table has two cases to either hide or present things. The cases are covered by plates. The plates are made out of solid wood on one side and slated plates on the other so that hot dishes can be posed in the middle of the table. The leg-construction prevents the top from warping whilst allowing it the necessary movement.
Like our wood, the slate stone comes from the area surrounding our atelier.
Check out more about The Hansen Family Dining Table here.

It was about time that I get better in the kitchen and since a few days I discovered the Paris Kitchen Studio at Boulogne that offers a cooking class at lunchtime. Their website is not as great as the place itself, you really have to pay them a visit. The whole place is situated in a 250 squaremeter parisean loft and was founded by Stéphane Brasca & Jessica Nazarian.
